Obituary of Dorothy Gamba

Dorothy Gamba, 87, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at The Pines at Whiting. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived in Bayside Queens, NY before moving to Whiting 12 years ago. Dorothy was an administrative assistant for the Teamsters Union, Joint Council #16, New York City, NY. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Dorothy was predeceased by three brothers, Vincent, Joseph and Salvatore Gamba. She is survived by one brother, Richard Gamba and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be today, Friday, Dec. 11th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Saturday, Dec 12th at 9 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
