Obituary of Alice A. Ashworth

Alice A. Ashworth, 93, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Southern Ocean Center, Stafford, NJ. She was born in East Orange, NJ, lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Pine Ridge at Crestwood, Whiting in 1996. Alice worked as a sales associate for Capital Lighting of East Orange for many years before retiring. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, R. Kenneth Ashworth in 2000. She is survived by her son, Jay Ashworth and his wife, Mary of Barnegat, NJ; her daughter, Gail Rand and her husband, Michael of Florida; four grandchildren, Michael Rand II, Jeffrey Rand, Jennifer Froehlich and her husband, Robert and Kimberly Ashworth; One great-granddaughter, Rylee Froehlich. Services are private under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting, burial will be at a later date at Brig Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
