Obituary of Virginia L. Johnson
Virginia L. Johnson, 68, of Whiting, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ. Born in Long Branch, she lived in Lakewood and Toms River before moving to Whiting in 2006. Virginia worked in the Mortgage Department of the Ocean County Clerk’s Office for 25 years, retiring in August 2011. She also worked weekends as a receptionist at Burnt Tavern Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Virginia was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Eleanor Stefanski. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Ted Ciamillo and Jennifer and Rob Cox; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert William Stefanski, John Wayne and Barbara Stefanski and James Joseph and Vicky Stefanski; six grandchildren, Brianna, Tristyn and Anissa Cox and Teddy, Alex and Benjamin Ciamillo; several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Pat Carlo and her dog, Daisy.
A Memorial Mass will be offered Tuesday, Oct. 13th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting. In lieu of sending flowers, her daughters request that you offer a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org.
