Obituary of Helen S. Prunka

Helen S. Prunka, 91, of Whiting, passed away Friday, September 04, 2015 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Long Island, NY and Babylon, NY before moving to Whiting in 1990. Helen was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Prunka in 2012. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Peter and Jeanne Prunka, Timothy and Bonnie Prunka, Susan and Dave Polaski and William and Suzanne Prunka; one sister-in-law, Rose Prunka; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 7th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
