Obituary of William Suszczewicz
William Suszczewicz, 74, of Whiting died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at home. Born in Poland, he came to the United States in 1952, as a teenager and lived most of his life in Newark, Elizabeth, and Brick, before moving to Whiting, New Jersey in 1995.
He was a machinist/carpenter by trade, and was involved in soccer as a semi-pro player in England, a league player in the states, and an involved parent in all of his children's many years of league, highschool, and traveling tournament teams. He loved fishing, sports, and spending time with his family as much as he could.
William will be eternally missed by his family, and is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 52 years, Catherine (Manziano), adored and cherished children, daughter Linda and Jim Craig, of Greenville, South Carolina, son Paul and fiancée Cinda Heater, of Deland, Florida; a brother Romuald of Arizona; and one treasured granddaughter, Tanner Nicole, and many loving family and friends.
