Obituary of Madeline Connors

Madeline A. Connors, 90, passed away Monday, September, 13, 2010 at home. Born in the Bronx, NY, she live in Queens, NY before moving to Pine Ridge at Crestwood in Whiting in 1982. She was a member of the Busy Bees of Pine Ridge and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Connors on January 14, 2003 and two daughters, Judith and Susan. She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Borowski and Nadine Connors and four grandchildren, Danny Diaz, Emily Diaz, Christine Borowski and Allison Borowski. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010 and from 9 to 9:45 a.m., Friday morning, September 17, 2010 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Sisters of St. Dominic, Tree of Life Memorial, 555 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY, 11701.
