Obituary of Ruth Dorner

Ruth Flamm Dorner, 77, of Crestwood Village I, Whiting, Manchester, NJ, wife of Conrad Dorner, Jr., died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Ruth previously lived in Levittown, PA and Sierra Madre, CA, before moving to Whiting in 1999. She was employed for many years as an activities director for C.L.I.M.B. for the Blind in Sierra Madre, CA. She was a member of Foxey Ladies, the Red Hat Society of Whiting and numerous organizations dedicated to bring laughter and entertainment to the sick and elderly seniors. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Conrad, Jr.; six sons and their spouses, Randy and Roz, Rick and Sue, Ron and Karen, Steve and Laura, Michael and Denise and Douglas and Melissa; two daughters, Stephanie and Stacy; one brother and his wife, Ben and Nan Flamm; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at the chapel of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
