Obituary of Agnes O'Brien

Agnes M. O'Brien, 86, of Tinton Falls, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Agnes was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Whiting in 1979 before coming to Tinton Falls in 2007. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, William P. O'Brien, Sr. in 2000. She is survived by four daughters and their spouses, Kathleen and James Simon, Maureen and James Kehoe, Eileen and Michael Connor, all of Middletown and Patricia and Thomas Cullen of Oceanport; one son, William P. O'Brien, Jr. of Swedesboro; one brother, William Ryan of Whiting; one sister, Veronica O'Brien of Whiting; 11 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Meridian Hospice, 4900 Route 33, Suite 200, Neptune, NJ 07753.
