Obituary of John Capo
JOHN T. CAPO, 88, of Whiting, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010, at Arista Care at Whiting. Born and raised in Jersey City, he moved to Whiting in 2002. John was a truck driver for Yellow Freight in Jersey City. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Leapoldi in 2007 and his sister, Marie Sarino in 2002. He is survived by two daughters, Maryann Castillo and Jo-Anne Suter, both of Whiting; one son, Louis Capo of East Brunswick; two brothers, Russ and Michael Capo, both of Jersey City; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2010 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
