Obituary of Joseph Pace
Joseph Anthony Pace, 81, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. Born in Manhattan, NY, he lived in Brooklyn, NY and on Staten Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 2001. He was a postal clerk for the US Post Office in Manhattan for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the Legion of Mary.
Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Vincenza Pace in 1967. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rosella; one daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Jonathan Wood of Jackson, NJ; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and April Pace of East Meadow, Long Island, NY and five grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday Morning at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery and Mausoleum in Lakewood, NJ.
