Obituary of Annette Barr

Annette E. Barr, 88, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at Manassas Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Manassas, VA. Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, she came to the United States in 1923. She was an Advisor for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., New York, NY, for 40 years, retiring in 1982. She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1992 and her sister, Kathleen Sgourdos in 2005. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
