Obituary of Florence Popadiuk

Florence T. Popadiuk, age 81 of Whiting, Manchester Twp., died Sunday at home. Born in Elizabeth, NJ she lived in Manville prior to moving to Crestwood Village VII in 1982. She was a homemaker. Florence was a member of the Red Hat Society, Crestwood Chorus, Residents Club and the Flower and Garden Club all of Whiting. She was also a member of the Democratic Club of Manville. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, writing poetry and music. Florence was a Communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, Whiting and a member of the Choir. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1992 and her daughter Deborah Unger in 2009. She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Berna Aguirre of Newport News, VA; twin daughters; Lydia Conway and her husband Jack Jr. of Manville; and Linda Sena and her husband Lawrence of Manville; one son in law William Unger of Highbridge, NJ.; 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Thursday from 8-845am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting. A funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday at 9am from the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton 30 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting. Interment will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Contributions in her memory may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
