Obituary of Catherine McConville

Catherine Jordan McConville, 84, of Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010 at Sunrise of Alexandria Assisted Living in Alexandria, VA. Catherine was born and raised in Bayonne and lived in Rutherford and Denville, before moving to Whiting in 1984. She was a proud graduate of Holy Family Academy in Bayonne. She volunteered at St. Claire's Hospital in Denville and was Vice-President of St. Claire's Ladies Auxiliary. She liked to travel, play cards and line dance. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She is predeceased by her son, John (Sean) McConville in 1997 and a brother, John Jordan. She is survived by three children, P. Kevin McConville, Kathleen McConville and Brendan McConville and five grandchildren Relatives and Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Friday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
