Obituary of Antonio Micich
Antonio M. Micich died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Aristacare Nursing Home, Whiting. Born in Weehawken, NJ, he lived in Midland Park, NJ prior to moving to Whiting. He was a teacher with the Wayne Twp. Board of Education for 42 years, retiring in 2002. Mr. Micich was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council Pope John the 23rd of Midland Park, NJ; a member of the NJ Retired Education Association; and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Whiting.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Audrey Allen Micich; five sons; Steve and wife Diane of Indianapolis, IN, Ethan and wife Jennifer of Sherwood, OR, Eliot of Garfield, NJ, Evin and wife Lisa of Oakland, NJ, and Edward and wife, Nell of Columbus, OH; two daughters, Elisa Monaro and husband Dario of Ocala, FL and Elisabeth Otero and husband Diego of Scotch Plains, NJ; one brother, John of Wells, VT; one sister, Natalia Nunez of Waldwick, NJ; Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Justin, Allison, Stacy, Anthony, Thomas, Robert, Tara, Charles, Phoebe, and Diego Antonio.
Friends and Relatives may call Tuesday, 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm and the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, Whiting. Entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
