Obituary of Joan Loughman
Joan Marie Loughman, 72, of Crestwood Village II, Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Toms RIver, NJ. Born in Suffern, NY, Mrs. Loughman lived in Kearny, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2006. She was a Secretary for the Irvington Board of Education for 29 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Residents Club, Card CLub and Bocci Club of Village II. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward Loughman; two children, Karen Losgar of East Stroudsburg, PA and Joseph Loughman of Orlando, FL; her twin brother, John Stegmayer of Missouri, her sister, Carol Baisley of New York; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2009 at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Inurnment will follow in the Chapel.
