Obituary of Shirley Yencho

Shirley May Yencho, 75, of DeBary, FL, formerly of Whiting, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009 in Florida. Born in East Orange, she lived in Bloomfield and Whiting before moving to Florida. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Whispering Pines Theatre Association. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Yencho, Sr. in 1991. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Linda and Charles Colgan, Diane and Michael Melnyk and John E. Yencho, Jr. and his wife, Peggy; one sister, Joyce Speers; seven grandchildren, Vincent, Thomas, Nicholas, Michael Y., Michael M., Tyler and Austin and three great-grandchildren, Vincent, Gianna and Ava. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 19, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
