Obituary of Bernice Novak

Bernice H. Novak, 97, of Whiting, passed away Friday, October, 9, 2009 at Crestwood Manor Health Care Center in Whiting. Born in Chicago, IL, she lived in Irvington, NJ before moving to Cedar Glen Lakes in Whiting in 1984. She was a Directory Supervisor for NJ Bell, Glen Ridge, NJ for 43 years, retiring in 1972. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers Club of America, Toms River Chapter. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She is survived by two nephews, Denis J. Novak of Chesapeake, VA and Robert Novak, CFC, Ph. D. of New Rochelle, NY. A memorial mass will be held at 10 AM, Monday, December 7, 2009, at the All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, LLC.
