Obituary of Agnes McLaughlan

Agnes F McLaughlan, 87, of Whiting, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009 at home. Miss McLaughlan was a payroll supervisor for Fabrics by Joyce, Moonachie, NJ for 10 years, retiring in 1987. She was a US Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 502, Whiting, past president of the Jersey Shore Waves Unit #68, Toms River and a member of Waves National, Washington, D.C. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Helen McLaughlan and three sisters. She leaves behind one nephew, Andrew Lazar of Newton; two nieces, Dahne Deeks of Whiting, Barbara Yurick of Phoenix, AZ and their families. A Memorial Mass will be offered 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Van Dyke Hospice,99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755-6423 or the World War II Veterans Memorial Park, Attn: Tracey DeLuccia, 1 Colonial Drive, Manchester, NJ 08759.
