Obituary of Sr. Tucholski
Raymond P. Tucholski, Sr., 80, of Whiting, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, in Browns Mills, NJ. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Rutherford before moving to Whiting in 2003. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired electrical technician for Singer Kearfott, Wayne, NJ. Raymond was a member of the Barbershop Oceanaires and an avid swimmer. He was a loving father and husband who enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
Raymond was predeceased by his grandson, Michael, Jr. in 2007. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Claire; four children and their spouses, Theresa and Robert Benedetti, Raymond P., Jr. and Diane, Thomas and Georgette, and Michael; one brother, Al; one sister, Mary; eight grandchildren, Marissa, Julian, Raymond, III, Josef, Danielle, Kelly Ann, Jonathan and Mitchell, and one great-grandchild, Kylee.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday and 9 to 9:45 a.m., Tuesday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m., in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
