Obituary of James Glenn

James J. Glenn, 84, of Whiting, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at The Pines at Keswick in Manchester. Born in Trenton, he lived in Hamilton Township and Lady Lakes, FL before moving to Whiting in 1996. Mr. Glenn was a Security Officer for General Motors, Trenton for 38 years, retiring in 1986. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence E. in 2001 and his daughter, Kathleen Glenn in 2006. He is survived by two sons, James J., Jr. and Stephen Glenn; two daughters, Mary Glenn Caruso and Ann Glenn, five grandchildren and his dear friend, Mary E. Schmidt. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
