Obituary of Dr. Alfred Otterpohl

ALFRED OTTERPOHL, 81, of Whiting, NJ, formerly, of South Hempstead, Long Island, NY, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood, NJ. Dr. Otterpohl was born in Queens, NY and lived in South Hempstead before moving to Whiting in 2007. He was a Chiropractor and practiced in South Hempstead, NY for 55 years, retiring in 2005. He was a US Navy veteran. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and Bethlehem Lutheran Church, both, of Baldwin, NY. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth; three children and their spouses, Karen Richardson of S. Hempstead, NY, Lois and Kevin Herman of Belford, NJ, and Gary and Debra Otterpohl of Pennington, NJ and two grandchildren, Zachary and Katelyn. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting, NJ.
