Obituary of Marion Coppo

Marion J. Coppo, 96, of The Pines at Whiting, Manchester, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at home. Born and raised in New York City, she lived in Spring Valley, NY before moving to Whiting in 1972. She was a seamstress and editor for McCalls Magazine, New York, NY. She played golf and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter, in 1981. Surviving are one brother, Thomas Geoly of Vero Beach, FL; one sister, Constance Donley of Uniondale, Long Island, NY and 15 nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Friday, in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
