Obituary of Eleanore Russell

Eleanore A. Russell, 90, of Whiting, Manchester, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at home. Born in Boonton, she lived in Lincoln Park before moving to Whiting in 1980. Mrs. Russell volunteered with Meals On Wheels for 18 years. She was Past President of the Fernwood Women's Club, a member of the Whiting First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion, Post #502 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, all, in Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Verl, in 1989. She is survived by three children, Jacqueline Ann Patterson of Harrisburg, OR, Torrie R. Sakalsky of Long Valley, NJ and Shayne Russell Baer of Medford, NJ; three grandchildren, Wade, Dayna and Rebeccah, all of Long Valley, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6th, at 1 PM at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.
