Obituary of Arthur Weigand

ARTHUR F. WEIGAND, 92, of Whiting, passed away on Monday, February 23, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in New York City, and resided in Glendale, Queens, NY, before moving to Whiting in 1983. Arthur worked for Volkart Brothers Investments on Wall Street and Morgan Stanley Corp for 37 years, retiring in 1986. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arthur was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn in 2008, and his daughter Marilyn Dickmann in 1998. He is survived by his son William and his wife Jeanne of Randolph, NJ, a sister Charlotte Quinn of Long Island, NY, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Relatives and family may call from 7 to 9 PM on Thursday, and on Friday, from 10 to 10:45 AM, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 11 AM, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
