Obituary of Stanley Stypula
Stanley F. Stypula, 88, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, February 10, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. Stypula was born and raised in Elizabeth, moving to Whiting in 1982. He was an electrical tester for Singer Corporation, Elizabeth for 30 years, retiring in 1978. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a former member of the V.F.W. #8745 Whiting Memorial Post. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Marion. He is survived by two children, Arlyne Stypula of Mays Landing and David Stypula of Jackson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday morning at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
