Obituary of Mary Richter

Mary (Neubauer) Richter, 89, of Whiting, Manchester, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mrs. Richter was born in Allentown, PA and was raised in Austria. She returned to New York City, NY in 1936 and moved to Whiting in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John in 1992 and her daughter, Mary Ann Richter in 1978. She is survived by one daughter, Joan F. Potts of Brick; one sister, Paula Mayer of Austria; one brother Kurt; three nephews Ernst, Joseph, and Edward; and three grandchildren, Donald, Jason and Rebecca. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
