Obituary of Ann Hopkins

Ann M. Hopkins, 71, of Whiting, Manchester, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, at home. Mrs. Hopkins was born in Jersey City and lived in Pine Bush, NY and Lanoka Harbor before moving to Whiting in 2005. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, William, in 2004. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and David Kessler of Whiting, Denise and Matthew Thorp of Maybrook, NY and Deborah and Darren Steckler of Succasunna; one sister, Helen Connely of Ridgefield Park; seven grandchildren, Ann, Kaitlin, Kayla, Heather, Donald, Matthew and Brendan and several niecesa and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
