Obituary of Albert Pujol
Albert Pujol, 86, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Sunday, January 11, at the Van Dyke Hospice, Toms River. Mr. Pujol was born on January 20, 1922 in New York City, NY. He was a partner of an international textile firm in New York City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and took part in the Invasion of Normandy on D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Crestwood Artist Guild for many years and his oil paintings were widely exhibited.
Mr. Pujol was predeceased by his sister, Rose and brother-in-law, Leo. He is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine; uncle, Alphonse; cousins, John and Paul of Brooklyn, NY; brother-in-law, Thomas; sisters-in-law, Emilia and Maria L. of Whiting and numerous nephews and nieces.
A private memorial service will be held for immediate family members, only. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Van Dyke Hospice at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
