Obituary of Wallace Bolger
Wallace F. Bolger, 85, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Friday, November 28, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. Bolger was born in New York City, NY and lived in North Bergen and Edgewater, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1986. He was a truck driver for Nabisco in Jersey City and Teterboro, NJ for 44 years, retiring in 1985. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was past Commander of the V.F.W. Post 5420, Edgewater. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Mr. Bolger was predeceased by his wife, Catherine in 2003. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wallace and Kathleen M. Bolger; one daughter, Karen Christiano; one sister, Gloria Parry; four grandchildren, Anthony and Kimberly Christiano and Zachariah and Sean Bolger and two great-grandchildren, Marissa and Vanessa.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
