Obituary of Julianne Bowden

Julianne R. Bowden, 93, of Whiting, Manchester, passed away on Monday, October 27, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Middlebury, VT, and resided in Phoenixville, PA, before moving to Whiting in 1976. Julianne was registered nurse in the United States Army for 26 years, retiring in 1965 as a Major. She was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. She was a member of the VFW Post 8745, Whiting Post. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Whiting, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Julianne is survived by her sister Genenieve and her husband John of Medford, NY. A funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, October 30, at 11a.m., at St. Marks Catholic Church 105 Randall Road, Shoreham, NY 11786. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
