Obituary of Robert Calvin
Robert Calvin, 88, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away, Wednesday, September 24, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Calvin lived in North Bergen, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1990. He was a Motorman for PATH - Port Authority of New York & New Jersey for 45 years, retiring in 1990. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Calvin was predeceased by his wife, Blanche in 1989 and his son, William in 1968. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Calvin and Carolyn Smyth; one son, Joseph; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home officiated by Rev. Robert L. Webster. Entombment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
