Obituary of Henry "Ed" Petrucci
HENRY "ED" PETRUCCI, 85, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Wednesday, July 30, at home. Born in White Plains, NY, he lived in Neptune and Lanoka Harbor before moving to Whiting in 1984. Mr. Petrucci was a Supervisor for JCP&L, Farmingdale, NJ for 29 years, retiring in 1983. He was a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Mr. Petrucci was predeceased by his first wife, Marguerite in 1990. He is survived by his second wife of 15 years, Mary Jane; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Janet of Dallas, TX and Daniel of Bridgeville, DE; two step-sons, John Gros of Halifax, PA and Fred Gros of Rockaway Twp., NJ; one brother, Richard of West Islip, NY; one sister, Viola Santopatre of Albertson, NY; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Monday, in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
