Obituary of Ann Tedesco
ANN MARRA TEDESCO, 91, of Perth Amboy, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Tedesco was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident. She was a Secretary for the Guidance Department at Perth Amboy High School for 18 years, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Hopelawn and a member of the church's Holy Rosary Seniors and Holy Rosary Women's Guild. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Post #1613, and Treasurer for many years; a member of the Raritan Bay Medical Center Guild, and the Deborah Hospital Foundation, all of Perth Amboy. Mrs. Tedesco was predeceased by her parents, Pompilio and Alice Marra and her brother, Joseph Marra. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Alphonsus; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Alan Tedesco of Highlands, NJ and Richard and Catherine Tedesco of Edison; two grandchildren, Vincent and Margaret Ann Tedesco and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. A funeral liturgy will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Hopelawn. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn.
