Obituary of Jr. Dowgin
RALPH F. DOWGIN, JR., 71, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, at Twin Bridges at Whiting. Born in Teaneck and grew up in Cranbury, he lived in Toms River, before moving to Whiting in 1998. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman. He served in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean Conflict. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Mr. Dowgin was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Kathleen, in 1992. He is survived by his children, Monique and her husband, Anthony Pasquarelli, Ralph F. Dowgin, III, Marguerite Dowgin, and Marjorie Dowgin; brothers, Jerry and Ed Dowgin; a sister, Gloria Griffith; three grandchildren, Vincent, Olivia, and Daniel Pasquarelli; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, April 24, from 9 to 9:45 a.m., at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's memory to: Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society 875 North Randolph St., Suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203.
