Obituary of Dorothy Schatz

Dorothy Schatz, 83, of Whiting, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Crestwood Manor Health Care Center, Whiting, NJ. Born in Queens, NY she also lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Whiting in 1991. Helen was a Supervisor for Con Edison, New York City NY for 42 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Dorothy is survived by three nieces, Judith Evans and her husband, Jeffrey of Northboro, MA, Dorothy Rice and her husband, Joseph of East Windsor, NJ and Anne Mundy and her husband, Donald of Delaware, OH; a nephew, Joseph Schatz, and his wife, Andrea of Belle Chasse, LA; three great nieces and two great nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Anne Schmidt, of Whiting, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Inurnment of her ashes will be in the chapel following the mass.
