Obituary of Elizabeth Barnes

Elizabeth Jane Barnes, 85, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Elizabeth was born in Saddle River, NJ and lived there most of her life until she moved to Whiting. She owned and operated Betty's Beauty Shop in Saddle River for 20 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Saddle River. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Francis Edward Barnes in 1991 and her son, John Michael Barnes in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Robert Edward Barnes and James Francis Barnes and his wife, Linda J.; one brother, Peter Odo and one sister, Rita Schoen. Services are private.
