Obituary of Thea Malatier

Thea E. Malatier, 93, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Pines at Whiting. She was born and raised in Manhattan, NY and lived on Park Avenue. She moved to Whiting in 1984. Thea was a supervisor for American Life Insurance, New York, NY. She was an officer of the Shuffleboard Club, Bocci Club and Emergency Management of Crestwood Village 4. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Thea was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Joseph Malatier in 1984. She is survived by many dear friends, including Ray R. MacPherson and Elsie Kmiechick. A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date.
