Obituary of Roberta Thalheimer
Roberta H. Thalheimer, 70, of Forked River, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville. Roberta was born in Jersey City and lived in Avenel and Carteret before moving to Forked River. She was co-author of more than 35 books, five of them being on the New York Times Best Seller List, under the pen name of Fern Michaels.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Marc Thalheimer; one daughter, Arlene Kellner of Forked River; one son, David Anderson of Jamesburg; two stepsons, Marc and Erich Thalheimer; one brother, John Cuomo of Forked River; one sister, Lorraine C. Tedesco, N.P. of Whiting and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
