Obituary of Mildred Bartlett

Mildred C. Bartlett, 88, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Lakewood before moving to Whiting 25 years ago. Mildred was a secretary for an insurance company prior to marriage and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She is predeceased by her husband, John William Bartlett, her daughter, Susan Szczepaniak, and son, Vincent Bartlett. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Sharon Bartlett and Robert and Angie Bartlett; one son-in-law, Stanley Szczepaniak; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her brother, Fr. John Conway and her sisters, Katherine Bartlett and Winifred Cooley. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, December 5th at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered at 9 am on Thursday, December 6th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Internment will follow at 11 am at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
