Obituary of Jr. Henderson

Elmore Henderson, Jr., 69, of Newark, NJ, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Whiting Heathcare Center in Manchester, NJ. He was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Elmore was a social services worker for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in New York City, NY. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Elmore was predeceased by his sister, Geraldine Henderson and his nephew Ernest Henderson. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Shaw of Whiting; one nephew, Terrence Shaw and two nieces, Debra Henderson and Linnette Sanders. Interment of cremated remains will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown at a later date.
