Obituary of Sr. Stewart

Frederick James Stewart, Sr., 69, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Jersey City, he lived there all of his life before moving to Whiting in 2010. Frederick was a stationery engineer with Simkins Industries, Inc., Ridgewood, NJ for 25 years, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Union of Operating Engineers, Local 68, Ridgefield Park, NJ. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice; his son, Frederick James Stewart, Jr. of Jersey City and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 12 from 12 noon. to 2 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
