Obituary of Monica Flynn

Monica Ann Flynn, 65 of Whiting, passed away Friday October 5, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was born in New York City and lived in Ft. Lee, before moving to Ocean County in 1997. Monica was employed by Verizon in Newark for 30 years, retiring in 2007. After retiring, she worked for the Manchester Twp. Board of Education. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Martin Flynn and her brother Martin Jr. Monica is survived by her sister Bernadette Flynn, multiple cousins and friends. She will be cherished by friends, neighbors and co-workers. Visitation will be on Monday October 8th at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Liturgy at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Whiting at 10:45 a.m. Memorial Contributions can be made to Fr. Flannigan's Boys Town in Nebraska.
