Obituary of Rose Uttariello

Rose Uttariello, 91, of Whiting, passed away Monday, September, 10, 2012 at home. She was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She moved to Crestwood VIllage in Whiting in 1989. Rose was a homemaker. She was a member of the Italian American Club, Bowling Club and Bocce Club of Crestwood VIllage, Whiting. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Americo in 2003 and her son, Joseph in 1962. She is survived by two sons, Ronald of North Arlington and craig of Coral Springs, FL; one brother, Rosario Restivo of Toms River; one sister, Angela Welty of Brick; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in North Arlington. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 Wests, Toms River, NJ 08755-6423.
