Obituary of Gladys Campolatano

Gladys Campolatano, 84, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Gladys was born in Illinois and was raised in Eyota, MN. She married and moved to Plainfield, NJ. She retired to Whiting in 1991. Gladys was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 1999 and her son, Steven in 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Carton of Brick; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Brig Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Popcorn Park Zoo & Shelter, Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731. .
