Obituary of Alice Clarke

Alice (Carroll) Clarke, 65, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at home. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived in Woodbridge, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2007. Alice was a Registered Nurse, receiving her RN from Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing, Perth Amboy in 1993. She worked for the City of New York Welfare Department for 10 years and the Visiting Nurses Association of New Jersey for six years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Alice was predeceased by two sisters, Maryellen O'Sullivan in 1970 and Ann Rilly in 2008. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, George Allen Clarke, Jr.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Walter Munoz of Erie, PA; one granddaughter, Anna Munoz and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, June 18 at 10:45 a.m. at the All St Chapel at St Elizabeth Ann Seton, Whiting, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ 08759 would be appreciated.
