Obituary of Patricia Johnson
PATRICIA AGNES JOHNSON, 73, Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Sunday, Sept. 23, at home. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Hazlet, Carneys Point and Toms River prior to moving to Whiting in 2004. Mrs. Johnson was a licensed practical nurse with the Country Manor Nursing Home in Toms River for 10 years, retiring in 1999. Prior to that, she was an English teacher with the St. James Grammar School in Penns Grove. She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Whiting, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Ocean County Artists' Guild of Toms River. She is survived by two daughters, Noreen Baker of Pennsville, and Heather Laracquente of Wildwood; two sons, James Booth of Penns Grove, and Michael Booth of Atlantic City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
