Obituary of Dominick "Danny" Carbone
Dominick "Danny" A. Carbone, 83, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Arista Care at Whiting in Manchester. Danny was born in Jersey City and lived in Little Ferry before moving to Whiting in 1992. He worked for Teledyne Farris Co. in Palisades Park and was a union member of the International Association of Machinists of Aerospace Workers, Lodge #304. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Little Ferry. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Danny is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rosemary; three children, Nancy Seitz of Manalapan, Richard Engasser and his wife, Caryn of South Carolina and Mark Engasser and his wife, Maggie of Hoboken; one sister, Josephine Carbone of Whiting; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, May 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Tuesday, May 22 at 9 a.m. at the All St Chapel at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
