Obituary of Agnes Staub

Agnes Katherine Staub, 96, of Jackson, formerly of Whiting, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. Born in Trenton, NJ on January 8, 1916, she lived in Hamilton Twp., NJ for 38 years before moving to Whiting in 1976. She lived there for 34 years before going to The Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living in Jackson last year, where she passed away. Agnes attended Holy Angels Grammar School, Hamilton Twp. and was a parish member. She graduated from Rider College in Lawrenceville. She was a secretary for the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy Test Center, Ewing Twp. for 12 years, retiring in 1976. She was an original member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and served as an extraordinary minister. Agnes married Raymond W. Staub in Holy Angels Church on Feb. 4, 1939. They celebrated their 73rd anniversay on Feb. 4, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was the kind of person who was loved by all who knew her. Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Kalman and Emma Radoczy and family members, Frank and Wanda Radoczy, Charles and Stella Radoczy, Andrew and Margie Radoczy and Emma and William Mooney. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Raymond W. Staub, Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond W., Jr. and Joyce Staub and Thomas Joseph and Robin Staub; five grandchildren, Philip, Joseph, Michael and Thomas Staub and Laura Morris; four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Kylie and Katelyn Staub and Logan Morris and a brother-in-law, William A. Staub. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, Apr. 12 at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. Inurnment will follow in the Chapel.
