I still miss her a year later. I was surprised in reading the will. She was generous to the end.

Dear Zabodyn family, Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. It seems no greater sadness is felt than when someone so dear to us is loss. May you find comfort in your memories and draw strength from a promise God has provided which gives the hope of someday being reunited with your beloved ( John 5 : 28,29 ). This promised future is one that will be filled with great joy because it will include perfect health and everlasting life on a paradise earth where " the former things have passed away " ( Rev. 21 : 4, Psalms 37 : 29 ). May you find some comfort in knowing that God does care and He does hear our cries. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

With great sadness I write this tribute to a lovely woman, who never really thought that she was anything special. Jackie married my Dad - Jeff - and was an amazing addition to our family She brought a love of nice things to us, and a sweetness that was a joy to experience. Her love of our Dad reinforced for me the love that should exist between a husband and wife. As I was privileged to become close to Jackie as her step-daughter I was consistently amazed at the talent that she demonstrated in so many ways - quilting, knitting, needlework, home decorating, cooking, etc. I was blessed to have an amazing mother for the first 18 years of my life, and then graced with a woman that I grew to love as a second (not second best!) mother who accepted my family, my children as her grandchildren and then their children as her great grandchildren. What a joy it has been to have Jackie in my life. Her physical absence in my life will be sorely felt - but the impact of her on our lives will live on. Go in peace, Jackie!

Jackie was an amazing woman, with a deep love for my father, Jeff, and her family. While my memories will include her love of antiques, quilting, and the loving restoration of a home in Maine, they will also include fond memories of good times and her delightful sense of humor!
She will be missed by our family, including my brothers, sisters, fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. What a terrific legacy she has left behind!
A brunch is planned for Saturday, January 9, at 27 Walkabout Court in Manchester, from 10:00-12:00. We are inviting local family members, neighbors, friends and those from Artistacare who provided such wonderful care during her final days. Please join us as we share and reminiscence!
