Obituary of Eleanor Tomasello

Eleanor Tomasello, 81, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Crestwood Manor in Whiting. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she lived in Garfield, NJ, then Vernon, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2005. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Gaspare Tomasello in 2003, her brother, Joseph Dowiak, Jr. and her sister, Dorothy Mannino. She is survived by four children, Thomas Tomasello, Helene Archibald, Bonnie Diamond and Virginia Griebel; one sister, Arlene Klimko; one brother, Donald Doviak; five grandchildren, Mandolin Walsh, Kevin Archibald, Michael Archibald, Leanne Restivo and Briana Diamond and three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Walsh, Tyler Archibald and Victoria Archibald. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, July 27th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 28th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Deborah Heart & Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ.
